Here are two testimonials for taking mega doses of Vitamin C to help the body recover from a virus. I want to tell my story from the last few weeks in hopes of helping more of you to make more informed choices in your own health. However, we are all different, and what worked for me may not work for you. We ultimately all have to listen to our own bodies and make the decisions we choose with guidance from those we trust. My story starts with the fact that I am 61 and was diagnosed with mastocytosis in 1997. I am much better off now than I was back then, by following a healthy lifestyle. Since I still have issues from histamine intolerance, I was concerned with the ramifications of getting this virus. I had been in isolation, with no human contact for 2 weeks when I suddenly developed bilateral conjunctivitis. How did this happen since I had no contact with anyone? I remembered how my 2 yr old grandson had conjunctivitis a few weeks prior and didn’t associate it with Covid-19 at that time, since it wasn’t on the list of symptoms. A couple days later, I heard that conjunctivitis was an early-stage symptom of Covid-19. I still was not convinced until I started developing other symptoms over the next few days. First, a strange intermittent pain in my back at the lower lobes of my lungs, which was more pronounced on the left side and was more intense when I would take a deep breath. Then a low-grade fever for one day, a sore throat for less than a day, followed by the dry cough stage and strange headaches, often only lasting a few minutes to an hour long. During this 2-week long event I was taking mega doses of Vitamin C at frequent doses throughout the day. I had been taking 500 mg. of vitamin C six times a day prior to the first symptom, so it was easy to just increase the dose. When I started having more discomfort with the chest pain, I increased the dose to 1,000 mg every 15 minutes. I took that dose for about 6 hours and I felt much better with much less pain and I could do deep breathing exercises. Even with taking 4,000 mg per hour I never developed any intestinal discomfort or change in bowel movements. This was a great sign that my body needed and was using every bit of Vitamin C I was taking. I love that it is so easy to regulate the dosage that way. Since I was feeling so much better, I decreased the dosage to 1,000 mg every hour and I have continued with that dosage since. It has been a week since weaning down to 1,000 mg an hour for 14 doses per day and I am still needing that amount because if I go longer than 2 hours between doses I start to feel the pain and heaviness in my lungs starting up again. I have worked with many people who have had relapses from thinking they can stop the Vitamin C or decreasing the dosage too fast. It is crucial to listen to our bodies and take what we need for as long as necessary. Other modalities I used during this event: I felt a noticeable improvement after using a nebulizer with 5 ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide. I did this up to 4 times a day, decreasing to just morning and night once the chest pain diminished. I also diluted the hydrogen peroxide to 1.5% at times when it felt too strong and was causing a burning sensation. Dr. Thomas Levy and Dr. Mercola’s videos explain the procedure. I took Quercetin, Zinc, NAC, Magnesium Biglycinate, Magnesium L-Threonate, Nattokinase, and Vitamins A, B12, B6, D3 and K2. I drank 2-4 cups of warm Cistus Incanus tea every day and fire cider several times a day. I did intermittent fasting with a 4-5 hour eating window from 1 pm-5pm. I ate a blended mix of cucumber, celery, apple, microgreens and ginger (here is the recipe), followed by steamed and raw veggies with mung bean noodles or kelp noodles and lots of microgreens a few hours later. I also listened to guided meditations that significantly helped me relax and get some great sleep, which has a profound effect on healing. I went for walks around our property and spent lots of time outside in the sunshine. I feel so blessed that I was able to do all the research I did before I felt ill and was able to help others and see the positive effects beforehand. It felt very strange and different than any virus I have ever had. I was never tested for Covid-19, therefore I am not 100% sure that is what it was. I hope to have an antibody serology test as soon as a reliable test is available. I am excited that the regimen I followed worked so well for me as it has for others and I am excited to have learned it, in the event that I may need it in the future and can also better help others. I have updated the Covid-19 file and attached it for you here. I hope that reading my story and those of others helps you to make your decisions for your own health. I love you all and wish you the best. I surely do not know all the answers, but I am here if I can be of any further assistance to you and your loved ones. This is a detailed account of Lynn, a woman I have been working with from Scotland. She is 47 yr old and has had a history of lung issues since she was 9 yr old. Her chronic conditions have been asthma, bronchiectasis, pleurisy, multiple bouts of pneumonia, lyme disease and heart arrhythmias.
She wrote, Initially I didn’t even realise it could be Covid-19. I spent a week in bed with high temp / sore throat / extreme fatigue / headache / sore eyes / dizzy. On Day 6 of the first week, I woke with extreme and severe lung pain. I could barely turn in the bed. Then the crushing feeling in my chest began. I felt I was unable to breathe almost like someone was standing on my chest. My windpipe felt tight. The cough began and it was very very dry. I believe more in relation to the sensation of not being able to breathe. As I have asthma and bronchiectasis I am well versed in how not to cough. How to breathe shallow and not panic. I can imagine for someone who didn’t know their lungs or have any prior issues the cough would just be insane. The feeling that you can’t get breath in is horrible. I tested both my temp and oxygen in the first week. I had a low grade fever of 38.7. At times my oxygen dropped to 89. Still, I thought it was a Lyme flare and bronchiectasis / asthma acting up. The lung pain / cough / chest sensation is like nothing I have ever felt before. I have had pleurisy / pneumonia’s / chest infections and flu. At times needing long term hospitalization for up to 2 weeks. This pain in the lungs / dry “ empty” cough was nothing like any of them. It felt like I was drowning for air in a desert. I can’t really explain it better than that. They have told me what I described as symptoms were identical to them. I also believe that people experience this differently, depending perhaps on the strain they have. The viral load being high or low. Their immune system and any previous conditions. I think the ventilator’s are causing a lot of harm because the feeling you cannot breathe is a feeling. Yes, my oxygen dipped to 89 one day but it was one day. I knew from my lung issues and previous asthma how not to panic. How to breathe lightly. Stay calm. And within two days of taking the vitamin c I was ok again. My O2 was back to 98. It’s when you cough due to the “ weight “ you feel crushing your chest you begin to severely inflame the lungs. It’s so dry and a natural reaction. I had a phone consult with a nurse in the US. She told me about the vitamin c protocol and sent me documents and videos. I immediately decided to give it a try. By day 2/3 I felt much better. But what I will say is each time a dose was due the symptoms would begin to return. If I forgot a dose, it would be a lot worse. You have to keep the protocol up. You can not miss doses. Taking the correct amount of Vitamin C your body needs and taking it in divided doses all day long is the key. So in essence if feels like you’re “ chasing “ the symptoms. The lung pain felt like hundreds of tiny elves were stabbing me from the inside. It has been the most persistent symptom. I still have it 14 days after the initial temp. During this entire time, I did not ask for a test. Nor was I offered one. I felt my symptoms were manageable but had they gotten any worse I would have called an ambulance. Whilst scary, I understand my lungs and breathing so would know if I needed an ambulance / admittance. I know the health service is very very pressured right now and didn’t want to take their time up if I could avoid it. I worked with several people in uk and other countries. The nurse that did my consultation from the US is Rene Oswald. She is a trained nurse and health professional. Who also deals with natural health. She is available to answer questions by phone and messaging. She got back with me quickly. She is really doing it for free and wasn't selling anything, just really wants to help people heal from this virus. I am able to breathe well again and my oxygen is back to 98. The lung pain however is super persistent so I will stay on the protocol for now. After a second phone consultation with Rene yesterday I decided to increase my vit c dosage and frequency, which I am now following.

This is one of my favorite recipes for my first meal of the day, which is a good time to eat a light meal to ease into digestion and to rehydrate.
This is also a great idea for people who are not feeling well. It helps them to stay hydrated while giving the digestive system a break from digesting heavier meals. This allows the body to spend it's energy on healing instead of digesting, which is the reason we don't have an appetite when we are sick.

It has always been a big stress relief for me to write lists and be prepared before big events. That’s why I thought it sounded like a great idea to write up a plan in the event that we were to develop problems from the Covid-19 virus and I wanted to share it with others.
Making decisions about what you want if you ever need hospitalization in an emergency situation can be daunting for many of us. However, it often relieves the tension to think about what you want and make it clear to everyone involved before a crisis occurs. Following is a letter that a dear friend wrote to her Doctor in order to be proactive in the event that she developed symptoms of Covid-19 and had to be hospitalized. I thought it was very well written. She gave me permission to include it here and for everyone to copy it for their personal use. Click here to read more ↓ Click below ↓ to see previous posts |
